This notice explains how your personal data is processed when you visit weltzcreative.com.tr, under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK").

This is an English translation provided for convenience. KVKK is Turkish legislation and the Turkish version is the authoritative text.

Your personal data is processed by Caner Coşğun as data controller. Weltz Creative is the trading name of a sole proprietorship owned by Caner Coşğun.

Personal Data We Process

Data you provide directly

When you submit the contact form we record your name, email address and message. The phone number and subject fields are optional. The IP address you connect from is recorded automatically.

When you subscribe to the newsletter we record your email address, your language preference and your IP address.

When you apply for a job we record your name, email address, phone number, cover letter, the CV file you upload, your portfolio link and your IP address. Any other information contained in your CV is also covered.

Data collected automatically as you use the site

To produce visit statistics we record the address of the page viewed, the site language, the address you arrived from, your browser and device information, and the time of the visit.

Your IP address is not stored in readable form in these records. It is hashed irreversibly using a secret key. The purpose is to count unique visitors, not to identify you as a person.

Cookies

The site uses two cookies:

  • Session cookie — required for the site to function; deleted when you close your browser.
  • Cookie preference cookie — stores your choice from the cookie notice for one year.

Non-essential cookies and measurement tools do not run unless you select "Accept". If you select "Decline", advertising measurement tools are not executed at all, and analytics tools collect nothing that identifies you.

Purposes of Processing

  • Responding to your enquiries and communicating with you
  • Providing information and proposals about the services you request
  • Sending the newsletter — only if you subscribed
  • Evaluating your job application and running recruitment processes
  • Keeping the site secure and preventing abuse and spam
  • Producing statistics on site usage and improving our services
  • Measuring the results of advertising and marketing activity, where you have consented

Legal Grounds

Your personal data is processed on the following grounds under Article 5 of the KVKK:

  • Your explicit consent — newsletter subscription, non-essential cookies and advertising measurement
  • Direct connection with the conclusion or performance of a contract — proposal and service processes
  • Compliance with a legal obligation — retention duties arising from legislation
  • Legitimate interest — site security, spam prevention and basic visit statistics

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Hosting

The site and its database are hosted on Güzel Hosting servers. The servers are located in Türkiye (Istanbul), so hosting does not involve any transfer of data abroad.

The promotional video on the homepage

The promotional video shown on the homepage is served through YouTube. When the video player loads, your IP address is transmitted to Google. Privacy-enhanced mode is used. This constitutes a transfer of data abroad.

Transfers subject to your consent

If you select "Accept" in the cookie notice, measurement data is transferred to the following service providers. If you do not consent, or you decline, these tools do not run:

  • Google Analytics (Google LLC, USA) — visit and interaction measurement
  • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Inc., USA) — advertising measurement and optimisation

The data transferred consists of the pages you visit, interactions such as form submissions and button clicks, device and browser information, and cookie identifiers.

Transfers made from our server

To improve the accuracy of advertising measurement, only if you have consented, your name, email address and phone number are irreversibly hashed (using SHA-256) and sent from our server to Meta Platforms Inc. (USA) when you submit a form. This method is known as the Meta Conversions API.

Your details are not sent to Meta in readable form; only irreversible hashes are transmitted. Meta uses these to determine whether the person who saw an advert and the person who submitted the form are the same.

If you did not consent, or declined, in the cookie notice, this transfer does not take place. Visitors who have not answered are also treated as not having consented, and their data is not transferred.

Transfers required by law

Data may be transferred to public institutions and organisations authorised by law, within the scope of requests arising from legislation.

Retention Periods

  • Visit statistics — 180 days, then deleted automatically
  • IP address in form records — 90 days, then deleted automatically
  • Contact form messages — 2 years, then deleted automatically
  • Newsletter records — until you unsubscribe
  • Job applications — 1 year, then deleted automatically together with the CV file

The IP address is kept solely to investigate spam and abuse; at the end of the period it is removed from the record, while the message or application itself is unaffected. These periods are enforced automatically by the system.

Your Rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may contact us to exercise the following rights:

  1. To learn whether your personal data is being processed
  2. To request information if it has been processed
  3. To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose
  4. To know the third parties to whom it has been transferred, in Türkiye or abroad
  5. To request correction if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately
  6. To request its erasure or destruction
  7. To request that correction, erasure and destruction be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred
  8. To object to an adverse outcome arising from analysis carried out solely by automated systems
  9. To claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing

Your request must state your name, signature, Turkish ID number, address and the subject of your request. Requests are answered within 30 days at the latest.
